Next time you go camping, memorize some jokes or funny stories before you leave and you will have everyone laughing. Grab some marshmallows to roast and laugh until dawn breaks.
To set the right mood, turn off any large lights, such as lanterns or electricity based lights that might be on inside camp shelters or cabins. Let the fire die down until it is smoldering (the smoke will keep mosquitoes away. Have everyone bring their flashlights and let this be your only light source for a fun, cozy atmosphere.
If you have younger children in your group, sing songs that everyone knows, or let someone teach the words if it is a new song. If you have a group the consist of teenagers or adults, swap ghost stories. It’s fun to go around the circle and let each camper get a chance to tell a joke or story.
