The inflatable kayak is more suitable for shallow rivers and calm water. Whereas, the folding kayaks are generally made from wood or aluminum which are collapsible which often times makes the kayak feel a lot steadier in water. They can be easily folded and quickly assembled which takes roughly about twenty minutes to do.
